These gently drawn woodland animals are rescued by a little mouse who understands the true meaning of the holiday. 
Millicent Mouse is excited for her Christmas baking and decorating. But when she meets a cold hedgehog, a hungry bird family, and a skunk with a head cold, she puts aside her plans and cares for her needy friends. The ivy is not hung, the pie is all eaten, and there are dishes in the sink, but on Christmas morning Millicent discovers that the gifts she's given to others are returned to her in ways she didn't imagine.
